The History of Everania

The Very Beginning

In the beginning, there was only the void. Then, for unknown reasons, the Evanian gods formed in the following order. It is unknown how much time passed before the gods formed.

1. Yohr. It is assumed he formed relatively quickly. He made the stars and galaxies in the distance, using his powers to make something beautiful to stare at.
2. Enia. He formed next and, seeing what Yohr had already made, created a closer star: the Sun. They did this to have warmth, as the previously made stars were too far away to keep the gods warm.
3. Avadia and Remera. These two formed from the desire for entertainment. For a long time, they were able to entertain the others with their stories and antics.
4. Banir. Eventually though, arguments and fights began to happen, which is what prompted Banir to form.
5. Orena. It is joked that what was Orena before she Was sensed the fighting, and formed as a way to repair everyone's relationships. She made them all a family.
6. Cyara. Formed without a prompt. She made the moons almost immediately, so Micah, Aiwei, and Ibos were created around this time as well.
7. Uemis. Also formed without a prompt.
8. Utorr. Also formed without a prompt.

These eight deities decided they wanted a challenge, so they created the Feywild. At this point, there was two planes: the void, or the Ethereal Plane, and the Feywild.

Together, they shaped how it looked and created plants and animals to inhabit the plane.

All of this is estimated to have happened over the course of 5,000 years, but it is unknown how long it actually took.

The Creation of Mortals

This is separated from the previous age in history books because it is the dawn of intelligent life. This marks year 0.

At this point, the nine deities created the first mortals: the Elves. With this creation, Ketus, the deity of emotions, formed.

Within the first generation of Elves, they created the calendar.

At year 1,000, the gods created the Material Plane. There, they added portals across the Feywild to the Material Plane. They also created for themselves a "back door" to go between planes: the Gods' Summit.

A couple years later, most of the Elves traveled to the Material Plane. There, they set up the city Silvyr to be their bastion of power in Everania. Some Elves, however, decided to move to the northernmost continent: Caalartiska.

In 1,038, Banir was messing around and created what would later be called the Hellspawn. He didn't want his new creations to mess with the Elves, so the gods created The Hells. They also created Shadowfell in between the Material Plane and The Hells. [Is Banir worshipped by the Hellspawn?] A group of Elves from the Material Plane traveled to Shadowfell that same year. They took it upon themselves to help protect the upper planes from The Hells.

In 1,088, the chaotic energy in the Feywild spawned the first Archfey. They quickly became the defacto leaders of the Feywild society: the Seelie and Unseelie Courts. They are not worshipped, not have enough power to be considered deities, but they do have enough to be Warlock patrons, which will be discovered later.

Along with the formation of the Archfey, the Elves left in the Feywild warped; they became the first subspecies of Elf: Eladrin.

It is unknown when Satyrs first came to be, but there is definitive documentation in 1088 of Satyrs.

As a show of power, within the next couple of years, the gods created the following humanoids: Dwarves, Firbolgs, Goblins, Gnomes, Halflings, Humans, and Kobolds; they also created Giants, Elementals, Orcs, and other non-humanoids.

With the creation of the Elementals, in 1,090, came the creation of the Elemental Plane.

The Gods' Summit now reaches all the way from The Hells to the edge between the Elemental Plane and the Ethereal Plane. The Gods' Summit is well guarded with angels and other Celestials to ensure that no others can abuse this cheat to other planes.

In the year 2,500, many things were first documented:

• The Elves that had moved to Shadowfell became the Drow.
• The Elves in the Material Plane split into three subspecies: High, Wood, and Expanse Elves. The original Elf is no more, but High Elves still closely resemble the original Elves. These Elves, mimicking the familiar power structure from the Feywild and being inspired by all the new subspecies, created the Court of Hallowed Life. The Court held 5 seats, one for each kind of Elf.
• The first Aasimar, Tiefling, Goliath, and Genasi were documented.
